Course Description and Prerequisites:

In this program, the XML markup language is introduced, along with associated modeling techniques required to develop leading edge narrative-centric and data-centric documentation/data for a next generation enterprise solution. The student learns to design structured and transformational markup, utilizing schema and stylesheets which flexibly augment the underlying XML document infrastructure for support of various user input device communication, as well as non-human B2B exchange. Principles of XML use are reinforced by analysis of business process management work-flows employing web services and service-oriented architectures.

Some Java programming experience is required.
