The Lecture and Leadership Program is designed for University Professors and other Professionals seeking to develop the language skills they will need to be successful English speakers and presenters. The skills developed in this program will give participants the confidence and ability to speak English in casual and professional settings. This program requires that participants plan lectures and give presentations in English to better prepare them for doing so in the future.

The Lecture and Leadership Program is offered during the summer only, typically beginning July.

Average is 15 to 20 students per class

Monday, Wednesday, Friday
9:00 am to 12:00 noon - Class

Tuesday and Thursday
9:00 am to 4:30 pm - Cultural tours, including company and school visits.

The current price of $3,700.00 includes English courses focusing on instruction in Lecture and Leadership along with the assigned textbook. The price also includes a double occupancy dorm room on IIT's main campus and 14 meals per week at IIT's cafeteria. The overall price of the program will increase considerably if IIT's dorms are not available and off-campus housing and meals are required. The cost also includes transportation to and from the airport for students arriving as a group.

July 27 - Concert at Millennium Park
July 29 - Church outing
July 31 - Tour University of Chicago
August 1 - Lecture from Director of Information Technology and Management Program
August 2 - Chicago City Hall Tour
August 5 - Church outing
