IT 481 Entrepreneurship for Information Technology Professionals
Course Description: The course will give the student the ability to evaluate business opportunities, to assess the skills needed by the business team, to calculate the resource requirements for the new venture, to identify appropriate sources of finance, and to present the business plan to private equity, venture capital, bank, and other sources of startup capital. Prerequisites: Some experience in the field of Information Technology is required for enrollment. Who Should Attend: Any manager who wants to be able to evaluate the business model of his or her enterprise division, or expert who wants to use the technical knowledge he or she has developed in years of study and business practice.
